NEW DELHI: Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) has denied allegations that Indian billionaire and RIL chairman Mukesh Ambani is considering relocating to London.

The RIL described the claims as "unwarranted and unsubstantiated conjecture" in a statement released on Friday. According to the statement, "Reliance Industries Limited would like to clarify that the Chairman and his family have no intentions to migrate or dwell in London or anywhere else in the world." 

RIL's purchase of Stoke Park – via RIHIL – is intended at strengthening the location's "as a leading golfing and athletic destination, while fully complying with the planning standards and local control," according to the company.

However, the company made no mention of Ambani's numerous excursions overseas, as has been reported.

In recent news, major speculation, it is to be followed that the richest man in India and one of the top 10 billionaires in the world to permanently shift along with his family to London.

The Ambanis are said to have done their Diwali puja at their new London house. The family's principal property is expected to be Stoke Park, a 300-acre country club in Buckinghamshire, according to sources. 

The hotel, which has 49 rooms, was purchased earlier this year for 592 crores. The family will split their time between their Mumbai home, the Antilia, which is one of the world's most expensive homes, and their new home in London. Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani is the chairman, managing director, and major shareholder of Reliance Industries, an Indian conglomerate. Reliance is the highest valuable firm in the Indian market. With a net worth of US$102.1 billion, he is the richest man in Asia and the tenth richest man in the world, according to Forbes 2021.
